rode an 04 KLR 650 ok ok so i usually dont frequent this side of bikeland, but im gonna start and try to learn a few things..
wormhole...why havent u had fish make u up a snazzy banner like the rest of the site gets...he's holding out on ya lol...
yeah so i rode a new klr650 the other day, its so nice to be able to ride on the street and just take a gander off the road if ya feel like it...it sits so high, it can turn really well...
but yeah...my question is when or is it worth it for kawi to come out with a klr1000 ??????

they have what they call a KLV1000 across the pond which is basically a green VStrom1000...go get yerslf' a good one or two ywar old KLR650 and have a blast!...watch the front brake, though....it doesn't stop the bike like any modern sportbike unless you upgrade the pads...or in my case to a 329mm disc brake kit

yeah and i notice it had one disc on the front. i would regear that too in order to get a lil more on the top end for cruisin to those off-road destinations...makes me wanna go out and get a one-piece aerostitch suit too...its a one-banger, i cant get over that

not many dual-sport of dirt riders I guess...well a few 'unintentional' dirt riders ...this board is like how it is when I'm on my dirt bikes....relatively empty trails, lots of space to roam, peace and quiet, not too much bashing and crashing, just a lot of 'slow' fun....
