Doug..

Sorry for posting this here but I have a question regarding my Muzzy Ti can for my 2001 12R.

I heard that Muzzy is offering a mod to current cans where a plate is welded in the can to help with the cold start and idle hunt issues...appearently you lose a touch on the top end.

Any truth to this?? I've heard it several times...

If so, I am interested...

Could you PM or email me with any info?

Cheers,

Chris

It is not "a plate" but a smaller diameter insert that reduces the outlet to 2 1/4 ". THe greater back pressure smooths the idle at the expense of a couple of peak HP. We call it the "quiet can" option. You can order it from the Muzzys sales guys.
