4stroke-1 2stroke-0

Went up to Stave lake yesterday. 2 hail storms and lots of rain up there. Went thru a mud bog that had the 650 half submerged. Jussssssst managed to make it thru with 1 or 2 dabs of the feet. A guy on a CR250 went in after me and got stuck.....ha haha ha ha!!!!!

TORQUE RULES!!!!!!!!!!!

I even got a standing O from some drunken dirt bikers.....LOL. I thought it was for my riding but then noticed later that the rooster tail I threw off had covered the back of my helmet and my seat was coated with mud. I wondered how the speedo got covered. It now looks like a proper dual sport!!

Managed to give her a hanfull of throttle on the Albion ferry, wet wooden ramp. MT21s dont work so well on wet wood. Did a nice 180 and everything was going fine until the front wheel caught on the side ledge of the ramp......wham!! I had lots of armor on so the bike and I are fine. The ferry people were quite concerned though...LOL!

Great story of freaking out the ferry people... the edge of the ramp appears rather suddenly, No? Getting sudden grip on the wire mesh could be nasty too....

I'm not keen (still a talentless fatfuck) on mud-bogs just yet...but maybe you could arrange another Stave ride this week with Fish, PK & me?

I've ventured up the west side of Stave a little ways, but don't know the east side (or the Harrison / Chehalis roads) at all.

Yves and I went into McNutt / 256th last Thursday...found a connection between the two areas, but it featured a tough (for me) creek crossing & a nasty mud section...He's got a lot of talent & made a fool of me with his old xl250!

I had planned on doing more exploring but the gas pumps were closed at the place by the Highway 7 turn off, so once it looked like there was only a gallon left in my tank, I headed for home.
