It is... Same thing they've been trotting out for a couple years now. They bring it out to see if there's interest or not...

You remember that couple of years ago they fittet such a system to R1!!! It was reported to be much faster in the wet conditions and much calmer to steer even in dry. It took couple of hp out though - You know that liquid drive tooks some energy. But I'd say it would be very good on off road. It will be nice to see how that thing sells. Can't race it though...

Yamaha GTS-1000...with 1000cc 5-valve engine out of the FZR1000...very rare now...you'll rarely see them for sale anywhere on the used market...a 'unique keeper'?

Two wheel drive is useless on the streetbike models. Maybe for offroad work(ROKON) was a 340cc single that was also an automatic!

The two wheel drive R1 turned 5 second lap times faster in the wet than the one wheel version according to the write up in the mag I read.

Now...let's think about how often we'll be riding in crappy conditions on a bike.

Europe, maybe. Dirt bikes, fun, perhaps. I'd like to try one but sliding around is kinda the fun with a dirtbike to me.
