Poll Question:
Which one has the quickest lap times?

Which one of the 1000s will be the fastest around a race track?

I'll prolly wait till I read a UK rag on this one...I don't trust the US mags to (a) actually get all four bikes on the track, on the same tires at the same time and (b) do an objective review. Since there's no fucking Ducatis involved in this test, I think the UK rags will be fairly objective.

The ZX-10R certainly seems to have the credentials to do the trick. Time will tell. Recently Suzuki seems to be doing a better job of having the suspension dialed in from the factory. When I got my R1 I thought it SUCKED.... After months of trying different suspension settings, I got it to the point of being extremely confidence inspiring and a hell of a lot of fun to ride. It doesn't do tank slappers anymore and it doesn't need a steering damper. I hope Kawasaki does a good job with the "10", out of the box. I would hate to rely on the U.S magazines to get the bikes dialed in before they compare them on the track. If the basics are right on the ZX10, it will kick ass.

If Kawsaki follows tradition, it'll be undersprung and overdamped...

Isn't every stock bike undersprung with too much high speed damping? It's an unwritten rule for Jap bike builders.
Maybe one day we'll have the option to get a bike right off the dealer floor with springs that work for my fat gut.

I think Honda's gonna be the track ho. They did an awesome job with the 600rr right outta the box even though it was plus 25lbs heavier than other 600's.
But Suzuki's got a HOT package.
But Yamaha wants the title of best bike back.
And then again Kawi's long over do.

Basically I'm undecided, no wonder I didn't vote.

Overdue don't cut it tho. You could use that same argument for Cagiva or MV.

Kawasaki claims that the zx-10's suspension is geared for the
track, so i'm suspecting that this one gonna do well against the
others at the track? Got my fingers crossed. I vote for the zx-10.
