"When my 12R arrived...

... they were going to let me help uncrate and assemble it. I was such a nervous wreck, I was "demoted" to "supervisor" (don't touch any of the tools or the bike) and eventually told to just "go fill out the paper work or something".

To add insult to injury, after changing out the oil (and putting in too much - nobody read the A&P sheet), the oil light would not go out. ACK! It wasn't till the following day that they figured out that when a new bike did this, it had to be "burped"

Great pic!

I gotta tell ya.........if the oil light thing woulda happened to me I probably woulda fell right on the floor and not ever gotten up....................

Redelk,
About the headlights, yeah I'm with you - brighter=better. And I like the new ones too.
My 12 lights up the night better than any bike I've had, and it's better than my car with fog lights on.

I'm really pissed that this looks better than my 12 though. If it's faster I've just blown a shitload of cash 'cos I'll need a 1000.
The two colour one looks crap though, looks like a semi-faired bike until you notice the bellypan.

I agree................I wish the green was ALL green. I don't like the belly pan a different color.

when my fat arse gets on it and when the frame bends , a 60" wheelbase will be a reality as will the belly pan almost scraping the pavement.

I believe the "purple" your talking about is called "Pearl Purplish Black Mica" by Kawasaki. A color that is not planned to be on the 10R.

Does that answer your question?
