Z1000 exhaust modification??

Hello bikeland, I have just put a power commander 5 onto my 2010 model Z1000 producing 124.6 bhp to the wheel. I need some advice as to modifying the exhaust. I want to retain the "cans" as they look great but wish to get the gases flowing. Here in NZ we can do away with the catalytic converter without compromising any legal requirements. Could anyone tell me if I can utilize a set of headers from a "10" and a "Y" junction to go from the 4 into 1 collector to the mufflers instead of the "cat's box"?? Also are the 10's header pipes of a larger diameter to the headers on the Z and will they "bolt on" to my Z?? [I'm hoping that the motors being almost identical externally that I can put on a set of headers off of a "10" if they are "fatter" and run them through a "Y" junction to the "cans"]
