Wonder if Kawaski worked in a stronger clutch and a low cut oil pan with a flushed drain plug for dragracing?? 
Can always hope....and is first gear "not" 100 mph??... 
Yea ok..get a ZX-14 ....trust me I know....In any event 207 hp ?? even with ram air that kinda power in a light package as listed will be very cool ....

I was going by the picture of the tach and it show over 14k ... But we all know the Tach is far from what is really going on .. I was just busting steves balls with my 14,300 red line statement ..
The picture is misleading, the red bars start a 13,500 but the red silkscreen is like you said at about 14,300. The euro spec sheet says 209 max hp at 13,000 and usually the redline is like 500 to 1000 or so after peak hp. So you could be right about the redline. My bad. So it could be right there with the BMW.

There is only one way to tell. A real dyno test. Dynos can have huge variances between mfgs and even the same mfg. So a test on the same dyno between a ZX14, ZX10, and the BMW would tell the story.
Oh yeah it didn't say 209......it said 209.9! Hey that is almost 1 hp.

Yup i'll wait for Brocks numbers ... Seeing that he allready has the Data on the BMW it will be easy to compair the two bikes .. Looks like Kawi spent a ton of R&D money on this new zx10 , lets hope they got it right ..

My Goood friend is leaving today to the dealer show... They suppose to let them test drive the NEW ZX-10r. Yes he is a 35 yr cycle mechanic, owns a fast 14, & knows racing. He's been around & has overpaid his dues...

Specs: Larger intake tappets 26.5m>> 29mm . Looks like standerd valve train?? Don't see any fulcrum levers ?? Tittaium Valves ??,doesn't say.
More Cam,Stiffer Springs , Lighter Pistons , Higher Compression , Stronger Rods, Bigger valves, Bigger Throttle body's, Bored with dummy head [torque plate] All standerd Hot Rod Stuff.

I fly out in the morning for Las Vegas to work the Kawasaki dealer show. I'll be doing the demos for the dealers.
The product ride for the dealers are Tuesday & Wednesday..........I'm REALLY looking forward to the event this year.

Smart business man...huh? Have you seen any BMWs at the track yet? After all it has been almost a full year since the bike has been released. The only two that I have seen at the track were two guys that were 60+ years in age with their full BMW race suits on. Oh, and BTW neither of them had Brocks exhaust and will hardly be the type to stretch and lower the bikes. All I am saying is that the BMW is a fast bike and yes I get it but I wonder how many exhaust systems he has sold for the GSXR1000, Busa or the 14 in the past year versus the BMW? Don't forget about the bikes that made his business the success that it is today. Anyways, I wonder if Brock knows that Kawi is coming out with a new bike?
