2010 Z1000

Hi' Have purchased this years Z1000 and I'm very impressed with the machine
I've clocked up 13,000kmz [a little over 8,000 miles] on her in 4 months
Its our winter here in NZ so I'm pleased to have managed to get the miles under her
I'm customising the rear and have removed the number plate bracket and rear fender , replacing the indicators with LED bullet lights that I've re-located in the "hand holds" for the pillion passenger etc
Here in NZ there are not that many customised Kawasaki, or other Jappanese machines so she will be quite unique
I'm way impressed with some of the machines I've looked at on this site so I was hoping to get some feed back from the "experts" so to speak
I'll upload photos and descriptions of what I do as the project evolves any advice or constructive comments are welcome

Hi
Back again, I've [finally] posted some pix with more to come [check the link] Big ups to "fly boy" for the posting pix for dummies thread it helped heaps
So heres the latest
I've done away with the silver trim and replaced it with the "candy burnt orange" from the white model of my bike
I originally thought that it was too orange when I first saw pix of the models on line @ kawasaki.com
However after looking @ the pix that bikeland posted in the review article on this machine I was hooked and ordered the trim the next day, so far I'm going with the no decals look, so its just color and styling no branding or logos
I "shrunk" the number plate to 160mm x 60mm [6.4inch x 2.4inch] and have tucked it up under the tail tidy its a $200 fine for altering the plate but its worth it for the looks [haha] its all about STYLE
Had her out in the weekend with a friend on his ZX 10R put 200 miles under her on Saturday, then on Sunday I put a further 350 miles under her so now the odo is reading 16,300ish 10,000 miles or so
Cant wait until winter is over proper and the weather gets warmer to get some serious riding in
Yahooo
