zx10r rear tire
05 zx10r bike came stock with 190/50 can you put 190/55 on with no mods to bike

Dont see why not though it may depend on the tire manufacturer as they all vary slightly... what tire are you looking at ? (FYI most went to a 180 rear)

pilot race for the 180 you need 5.5 inch wheel the 05 zx10r has 6 inch you can put a 180 on a 6 inch but than you loose your quick turn in

Rob a 180 section tire goes on a 5 inch rim
190 5.5 inch
200 6 inch
190 is the width and 50 is the hight of the tire. The hight is also % of the width. So the 50 is half as high as it is wide. A 55 is 55% of the width.
The only thing you need to worry about with the 190/55 is clearance for the swingarm and hugger. I don't if they will clear or not.
If you go to ZX-10r.net I'm sure more then 1 person there has tried it and knows one way or the other.
