I tried it and it didn't work so well.
Hardly any improvement in outright power, but it did make the thing almost unridable as it became so responsive, unpredicatable and yet poor fueling.
It really wanted to fuck off, but couldn't get the fueling right.
I think it has a weak vacuum signal with the big throttlebodies wacked open, lots of cam duration, very light flywheel, all of which made it jerky , pretty much impossible to tune out from my experience

I wouldn't do it.

Brocks exhaust really woke it up though on top, and -1 tooth up frt with a speedohealer to correct for speedo error , all made for a major improvement with the bike.
Like a total different machine IMO.

If you pull the secondary's you have to richen it up a bit throughout the powerband....Just retune it and put a HealTech ATRE on it and it will be fine !!!

Pretty broad difference of opinions there. Has anyone pulled the flies & has b4 & after Dyno results?

I had a bazzaz on the bike.
I richened, and leaned and everything between, and could not tune out a stumble in the bottom, as well the bike was TOO responsive, wanted to light the tire when leaned over, and would wheelie instantly with minor throttle changes at anything above 3500 RPM.
You are going to gain about 2 HP IMO, but it will become unpredicatble with the flies out.

Thats my experience with the 08 zx10.
BTW, it has a much lighter rotating mass( quicker revving engine) than the previous models already.
If I recall correctly they removed 4lbs of internal rotating mass off the crank and flywheel between 07 and 08.

I went over this with Brock Davison quite a bit, and in the end followed his advice and left them in.

Try a good pipe and PC5 first, -1 on frt sproket.
I think you will pretty suprised with the increase, and likely satisfied
