ZX-10 header

Can anyone tell me if an aftermarket 1985 to 1987 ZX-10 header will fit a 1992 concorse without the lower fairing?

There is no such thing as a 1985 to 1987 ZX10. They made a ZX10 in 88. They were all the same basic motor all the way through the ZX11.

So if it's a 1987 it would be a GPZ 1100??? or GPZ 1000??? Would those headers fit a Concourse from 1992???

I believe it was: '86-87 = GPZ 1000r Ninja, '84-85 = GPZ 900r Ninja. Although they did continue to make the 900 available in Japan and other countries until I believe 1990 or so. Last year for the GPZ1100 was '83.

So..... I believe the '92 Concours utilized the early 1000r engine, which would seem to me that the oem headpipe assembly would therefore fit and/or be very close. If you remove the lowers, a calculated guess would be yes. But not sure if an aftermarket headpipe would follow the exact same lines. Whichever aftermarket company you purchase the headpipe from should hopefully be able to answer that.

Thanks K Bryant and yes it is a 1987 1000R Ninja. I'm not sure of the header brand (bought the bike used) but my thinking was the engines were the same, therefore the header would most likely fit. Thanks again for your help.
