Clicking While Bike Is Moving Need Help.
I have a 05 ZX10R and when I took my bike out on the road a few weeks ago I hear this Clicking Sound coming from the area where my chain is. I stopped and looked and notice my chain was mad loose so i tightened it. it still clicks. i pulled the front sprocket cover to check my sprockes for wear and tare didnt see anything significant but i did notice that my chain was alittle caroded with rust. i cover my bike all the time even outside i guess water can get anywhere. I did make sure my engine wasnt knocking as well thank god lol. Does anyone have an idea what is wrong?

your chain might be worn out!!! How often do you lube it, if you look close at the o rings in the chain and they dont look wet, you should lube it.
If it isnt the chain it might be a bad wheel bearing making the clicking noise , put the bike on a rear stand and roll the tire around in neutral , and listen to find out where it is coming from.
Also check out your sprockets for wear and wheel alignment

Thanks I'll put it on the jack stands and give that a shot. I thought about lubing the chain but hadn't got around to it. I'll post again later to let you know where it is coming from.
