Picked up my new bike

Today i picked up my new 2008 Kawasaki ZX-TEN-R

Omg oooomg oooooomg !!

WOW

What a bike....damn so tiny and so easy to corner. And power.....niiiiiceee!!!

I'm sticking +- with break in rules, but from 6000rpm bike pulls like crazy !

It is still new, probably 9kms only, but the weather is good so i'll begin riding asap.

When i sat on it and started to ride, i forgot everything those reviewers said. LOL. Its so good, so easy and so fast. DAMN !!!

Congratulations................ Sounds like your going to have some fun this summer. Don't even think about "breaking it in". Change your oil & filter @ 50-250-500 and 1000 miles. Ride it like you always would during those miles and she will be will be as strong as she possibly can..................... Those rings are almost seated already, so give er' the "what for" like they say here in Kentucky...............

Heh heh.................I'm an old fart myself Elmer............... I didn't mean no break in per say...............just not to be overly easy on it. I always make sure my bikes are fully warmed up before any agressive throttle twisting ( new or otherwise ) and I change the oil and filter a lot ( new or otherwise ) but I like to vary the rpm's all up and down the range when they are new. I reccomend to NEVER cruise around at the same rpm during break-in. Good luck with your 07...........nice bike.

YZF, out of curiosity what tires does the factory give you over there? I tried to make it out in the pic and they look almost like a Metzler, but I can't make out the lettering.

IC they did do alot of changes to the 08, never realized it from the pics on the kawasaki website. Good show YZF with the fender Elim, and trumpet replacment, Should turn out to be a very sharp machine.
