Rob and Adam...those bastards were rolling yesterday.....I hear tell that at one point they were both in the high 1:12's...so my mid 1:13 just wasnt gonna cut it.....only way I could stay as close as I did was I got out front and blocked them to slow them down.....lol
And Tibo, dude you rode your ass off yesterday as well....I cant imagine how fast you will be on that new ZX10R....

Dude im trying as hard as i can out there i just cant get my bike set up the way i want it but ill tell you what with my forks set up right i was a demon on the brakes.

oh yes you were.....I think I might need to add just a tad bit of ride height to get the bike to turn in a bit faster, I am sooo slow through the esses going counter clockwise I just need to do something to ge the bike to flip from one side to the other a bit faster, I am working my ass off in that session

You have aftermarket clipons? Widen the bars - probably the angle, not the depth.
Two, in that direction, shortshift into fourth and roll on the gas, finish the last right before turning left on the straight. I can drive you there if I'm close enough, you're too tight. Also, I think you turn too early for 111, but that's my opinion. Roger makes 111 exit a straight shot through the right into the next left, I'm not quite on that line.

Im taking some ride height out of the rear and front bc i need to get some weight on the rear wheel bc all my corner speed means nothing when i cant get a drive if my life depended on it

Dave you are absolutely right about my drive out of the esses, and my turn in on the 111....I know that I am weak in the esses and the line in 111 keeps people from sneaking up the inside of me. I also know that its slowing me down even more in the esses, but if someone gets by me in there, they pull me through the esses and then even more down the straight as Rob and Adam both showed last weekend. So its kind of me trying to block for that section and then using motor to keep me up front on the straight....and for the most part it worked, as nobody passed me there or got a good enough drive out of the esses to pass me on the brakes in the carousel. I also did the blocking inside line in turn 1. This kept Adam from getting me on the brakes there which he is wayyyyyy better at.
I realize that if I could get those 2 areas down pat I could prolly shave another .5 seconds off my laptime which would put me really close to the 1:12 second mark which is where I need to be....I need to ride more offensively, instead of defensively....just some of my own crituques.....I would love to hear from you and Tibo on your opinions....I have lots of stepping up to do if I want to stay ahead of the likes of you and Adam and Rob....You guys have REALLY stepped up the mark in the UNL classes and your pushing the hell out of me.....which is good....like I said sunday....thats what makes this such a fun class, the competition is close, fast and intense.....thats why we do this.....

I really really need to see you ride for a couple of laps and see how you do with you're lines and then ill just ride you're bike lol bc i rode the crashed blue ZX-10 , Eric, i ran 3 1:11.0's while i was wheeling down the short straight going CW lol so what im saying is its possible it could be the rider and not set up bc you're so use riding around the brake problems and its changed you're riding stile, I know bc the same thing happened to me

your bring up a very valid point Tibo, and you are absolutely correct....the brakes have screwed up my brake markers and my lines.....but I am not using that as an excuse....no matter what the issues are I need to fix them if I ever hope to get to the 1:12's out there....I need to shave 8 tenths going cw, and 6 tenths going ccw...thats a lot of time....and I need to figure it out fast before Adam and Rob get to far ahead in points.....

Update on parts! The switch to turn the traction control on and off is back ordered till who knows when along with those new sweet ass superbike lines that just came out. Finally got a hold of a guy at akropovic and he said not to expect to have a pipe released till the end of June which mean another month to get here to the states, so that pipe is no longer in the parts list. Talked to Leo Vinci they're getting their first shipment of the full ti Corsa systems , that retail for 2055$, in the morning so i went ahead and ordered 2 systems that are identical with Ti headers, and Carbon can and end cap. so im really really happy right now

i love 08 zx10's!! seriously though the bike is gonna be a beast after all the parts are in. hey jim its eric with the blue 10r. any way i could get that starter cover from you for this weekend? LMK. Damn it tibo, i hate being your friend.....jk you always push me to ride harder and faster. if anything im the one who has alot of learning to do. lol sometimes i dont even get the "lango" everyone speaks out there haha!

hey eric sup man....I am going to the storage shed tomorrow (saturday) I will pick up that cover for you, Tibo has my bnumber call me tomorrow sometime and we will hook up and pass it off to you...
Tibo I cant wait to check out that bike when its done, it will be radical.....it aught to be a hoot to ride....
I think that June is going to be my best chance to get into the 1:12 range on this track....I like going clockwise better than counter clockwise....I am a lot more confident in the bike this direction, and this new Bridgestone is nice, I cant wait to try a new 003 front....I know the rear sticks like crazyyyyy....even the take off I got from Jeff on saturday was hooking well with almost 90 laps on it.....

dude I was running a hot pressure of 28 in the rear and it stuck like it was glued to the ground....I was trying to spin it comming out of the bus stop and it would just lift the tire.....
