In the pics are
1. Kit ECU
2. PC to ECU Interface(thingy to tune the ecu)
3. Race harness to Stock harness converter(I think thats the correct term lol)
4. Gearing -2/+2 and green chain
5. Vortex Rear Sets
A lot more to come!!!

All the electrical stuff minus a couple of things so if you have any questions or need some part numbers let me know. I also am also doing a thin gasket and im not even gonna bother with the races cams bc they are pointless! So dont waste your money on those...and send your stock one to Web Cams and do something thats actually worth the money

Do you think that with the race ecu you can control the KIMS making it a true traction control?
Kawasaki doesnt want to call KIMS a traction control like Ducati does with the 1098R for all
the legal BS. What's your take on this.
I'm asuming you're going to use your bike on the street.
Im thinking of bying a 08 for the racetrack. Im on a limited budget so I dont plan to build
a full blown superbike, just a superstock. I wanted to buy the race harness and all that
stuff including the race generator and the analog tachometer. What do you suggest?

well the traction is not all that great you select the sensitivity from 1 to 10 and the level of retarded timing 0 to -10 degrees..If your gonna race Expert level i honestly would say wait for the 09 gsxr 1000 bc this ZX-10 is not all that fast and it has the same thing going as all the other zx-10s where on a fully built motor your looking at 175 to 180 max where as the gsxr all you need to do to get that number is a good pipe and a high compression head gasket and degreed cam and a good tune with some good gas and your in the neighborhood of 190 hp some even around 200 on a "stock" motor lol but any ways ill sow you some pics on how you can adjust this ECU

I think i have to agree with you because my o6 10 has 150hp stock trim. The only reason I have kawasaki is because I know the distributor for the caribbean and I think Im getting a good price for the bike. Almost everybody at the track are using gsxr. Im about the only one on a 10r, so its different.
So you're telling me that the 08 is not that fast? What about front end feel? Transitions from side to side? What pipe are you going to install?

I haven' even rode it yet. Im waiting on the TTX rear shock and the 25mm Ohlins cartridges which was supposed to be here today but the fed ex truck already came by and no suspension. I mean the bike feels good by just pushing it, the front come with 1.0 springs stock so thats kinda cool, It also has the best front brakes ever but then again i wasn't really pushing it all that hard on the street. So stock for stock the 08 ZX-10R is by far a better track bike if your gonna keep the suspension stock just because of the spring rates that on it. As far as gearing the ZX is geared to do like 209 MPH in 6th gear with tire growth and the Honda is like right at 180, so with the difference in gearing i can see why the Honda is winning all the roll ons, so gear them the same and the out come will be different on all the bikes, hell even the R1 might win lol who knows. The 08 is not that much faster that the 06 07 but they did help it alot on the power delivery not being so sudden. I know some people that have fully prepped 08 already and its making like no more than 5 hp than a 07 fully done so about 170, 175 seems to be the max so far so well see its a new bike so hopefully some one can find some power in this bike. The only pipe thats out right now that titanium is the Beet and i dont like those pipes so im in between the Akro and the Leo Vinci and who ever releases it first. Ill tell you what that Kit ECU is pretty cool to mess with

170-175 doesn't sound that much in this days. No wonder there are not too many 10r in Superstock and Superbike for that matter. If your buying the TTX and the cartridge, that means that your'e going to the racetrack, correct? How much and from were?
Our racetracks down here are not so big. In fact they are more like stop and go so im trying to make the bike as light as possible so I can accelerate faster. As I said, my budget is limited to the usual so a fullblown motor is out of the question.
Anyway keep posting your faindings because for what I see you know more than me of all this stuff. Thanks again!!!

It will be a race bike but not in any classes in America it gonna do a couple of races down there then live as a street bike the rest of its life

Hey, Tibo, I recognize that trophy...
Ninja Nick, my 10R racebike has -2/+2. Useful for ditching first gear for anything but launching, and is the correct gearing for California Speedway, windless. With wind, I'd want another tooth or two on the back.
I race against a guy with a Gixx 1k, he's -2/+4, and I can barely catch him at the end of the straight.

street guys dont know anything about gearing they just wanna automatically assume im gearing it like that to do wheelies, if they knew who i was they would know what i can do on a bike an to do i dont need no stinking gearing for any bike made to do wheelies
