quote: Steve...................... My statement is as FOLLOWS> ------------------------> Kawasaki historically does not put a huge effort into any form of racing. Never have..( although Moto Gp format does seem to have their attention) Look at AMA Superbike. Attack Kawasaki is basically a factory support team RIGHT? Where is the full factory effort like Honda and Suzuki have? Honda on the other hand puts out a HUGE effort to win. They have been involved in most all forms of racing on the planet if it has a motor. Racing and winning must feed their ego.
And if you think Kawasaki is spending the farm racing just think how much Honda and Suzuki are dumping into their programs.
Oh and Steve the teams and riders are there to win. I never said they weren't. I said KAWASAKI historically don't seem to give them much support.
Steve you really do believe everything you see on the surface goes all the way to the bone don't you?
+1
with the amount of piss poor propoganda that Steve puts out for Honda, he's gotta be gettin' somethin' from honda for his pathetic attempts to pump up them up.
Even when Honda gets caught cheating, he's still touting how GREAT honda is. This speaks volumes about his charactor! Ur a class act steve!

uhmmm.... I'm brand loyal to none, haven't touted Honda's "greatness". Although my comment still stands - Josh Hayes as a rider got screwed :P
Honda to me, like many others, is a great manufacturer that sells stuff to us. I'm not sentimental to them, nor do I get any more excited about their stuff than I do Kawi, Duc, Zook, Yami, Triumph, etc etc
Thsi year the Zx10 and Blade was redesigned. Next year I'll be debating the gixxerand Yami litrebike redesign. I could care less about you judging and attacking my "character", I find that ego amusing.
I don't bow to Honda nor any other brand

Steve, I've tried to stomach your stupidity. Sorry, can't do it.
Yea, Hayes got screwed. But, go back & read your post. Dude, you've lost all ability to see things for what they are. It's disturbiing to come to this website & have a moderator shamelessly promoting a brand.
You can TRY to paint your line of shit any color you want but in the end it still smells the same. LIKE SHIT!
Dude, get the hint! UR a sad excuse for a mod. & all you manage to accomplish w/ ur half-witted statements is to remove any validity from all future comments.
Dont u get it?
Read what you posted & how you posted it. Tell me that doesn't sound like some fuckin' losr troll post.

"Hayes still stomped dat azz right after signing my helmet at the Honda dinner two nights before hah!
And he still got HONDA the publicity wOOt! And if all that isn't enough in HONDA's favor, watch THIS for even more publicity and the AMA getting a black eye! Honda is loving it!
I bet their crankshafts are stock that way on all their bikes? Or something superior because its a HONDA, the world's most winning RACE MACHINES!"
I come to the ZX10Rzone.com for quality info. I expect stupidity from trolls like 08blade & I click the ignore button & they're gone. But, I can't do that with Steve cuz he's a mod. so I'm forced to stomach his constant rethoric in otherwise imformative posts. So, I'll just keep airing out my discontent when he posts examples of extreme ignorance.
Hey Steve? You think that statement above qualifies you for the "Honda ballsack on ur chin award"?
My vote: YES

Just to clarify things, it was Erion Racing not Honda Racing that Josh rides for. "Honda" did not get caught cheating. And yes, I am a Honda loyalist too.

As stated earlier in this thread (noted below).
quote: Such a bummer for the rider. His beef would be with Erion, since they normally build/assemble the engines. There were times when the Erion bikes were assembled by Erion employees, at the Honda Race Shop. I don't know if that is the case anymore. But the rule is very clear on this deal and has been. "Bearing surfaces" only. I don't see any gray area at all. Removing material, polishing, etc. to any other portions of the crank makes a difference and is not allowed. It will be interesting to see how it all plays out and who "manipulates" the true meaning of the rule best (Honda/Erion or the AMA).
There has been a press release issued by Honda on this. Here is the last paragraph:
"All the drama of the race was lost on two-time Formula Xtreme champion Hayes, who led a remarkable 53 laps of the 69-lap race to carve his rightful place in the annals of Daytona 200 history. Unfortunately, Hayes too would later suffer disqualification for a claimed technical infraction, and no official results have been posted. Regardless, nothing could take away from the brilliance of Hayes' remarkably calculated ride; he kept his head down, made no mistakes, had flawless pit stops thanks to his Erion crew, rode smart and fast and spent the entire race methodically building an insurmountable lead. That's what should be remembered about the 2008 Daytona 200.".
IMHO - The only disapointing aspect of the release, is the "Regardless" statement. If indeed the "technical infraction" is upheld, there is nothing "regardless" about it. Sorry, you get no sympathy at this level of racing. If you are caught, and found guilty, you don't blow it off as if nothing happened. And that's the way I read this statement. And once again, it has nothing to do with Josh, other than he rode the bike. Complete bummer, but if it's all upheld, the issue is black and white; no gray area.
Oh, and I believe "official results" have been issued. Chaz Davies wins the Daytona 200.

I suspect both HONDA and Kevin Erion (along with his entire Erion Racing team) are thoroughly enjoying all this publicity in the spotlight.
I think Josh was handed a bum bike not knowing, and I bet he's not too thrilled about it all.

I'm almost afraid to ask but, WHY would Honda & Erion be "thoroughly enjoying" the publicity their getting from CHEATING!
Yea, I'll bet the guy that was machining the weight off the stock crank didn't know that he was doin' anything wrong whatsoever.
Steve, they CHEATED! That's NOT good publicity!
Steve, I'm trying to be alittle more sympathetic with your posts. After viewing ur Daytona photos & seeing just how goofy looking you really are.
Well, it explains alot. I'll try to take it alil' easier on ya. LOL..........!!!
