The "NEW" old ZX10R
Well as some of you know I decided to take the 10 to track only this year as I picked up a 2001 ZX12R to use as my street bike. Haveing these 2 bikes in the garage is something I always said I would never have, yet here I am. The 10 is almost completely done now, just a few more things yet to do. I have to Cox Racing radiator gaurd here, just havent put it on yet, along with the Vortex levers. the 520 conversion is in route and it will be geared -1 and +3 for the short track we have here. I used Vortex Sprockets and an RK green chain.
I have already installed the Traxxion Dynamics AK-20 kit in the forks and the Elka Triple clicker rear shock. The Hotbodies got back from Crashtech today and I put them on. All of the Woodcraft covers are on and the Vortex rearsets. The Woodcraft clips ons have been installed and adjusted. once the chain and sprocket get here, I will have them installed and then wire it all up. She is very rideable right now, but just not quite finished....I have more pics, but cant find my download cable for my good Minolta camera, once I get that I can put up the before pics....these pics come off my old crappy camera and do not to the bike justice....Crashtech out did himself yet again....

lol....I learned about cleaning bikes from you Mark......
Tibo, might have to get some input from you on the shock, I have run stock suspension all my life, just get it close and ride around the issues. I want to take advantage of having the shock and cartridges and am really just stupid as to set up. IN GA I had a buddy that did suspension work, I would tell him what it was doing, and he would make adjustments, and then I would ride it. The stocks stuff was decent, but not great. It should be on rails once its set up for me and my ride style....then I just need to work on braking later and gassing it sooner....lol
You going to be out at Demming next weekend?

Thank you..........everyone!
Jim, for the love of god get that think outside and take some better pics.
One more thing...If any of you guys (or gals) are thinking of getting some track bodywork I must make a suggestion. Take it from me...DO NOT BUY HOTBODYS! Very poor quality stuff for painting.

Thanks again...The point I was trying to make is that if you are going to spend that kind of dough on bodywork, you should get alot more for your money. I have painted ALOT of bodywork and theirs was hands down the worst I have had to prep. I just think if you are going to race you might as well represent well. Catylist and sharkskins are good.

Thanks Counter....The pics suck, they really do not do the bike justice.....its really very very sharp. If I can get it to handle as good as it looks I will do just fine in the ULGP this year.....

Roger is a expert with that shock!!! So you'll be in good hands!! Also you got the best cartridges for the money, i have the AK-20 Gas makes my penis feel bigger... Yeah i should be out there this Sunday or so and i will definitely be there race weekend..This weekend i gotta try the Bridgestones bc thats what im gonna be on this season and im not excited about it at all........Pirelli's are 420 a set now and they not paying shit....less than what bridgestone pays for amateurs, so im not happy with pirelli right now..oh and the stones are only 320 a set ...haha

Hey Tibo, you need to hook up with me at the track, I am trying to put a group buy of BT002's together from a distributor I got in contact with. If I can set a buy up of more than 10 sets of tires I can get them for $265 a set. Sergio is talking with me about it as well. If we can get enough people we can split the costs of the shipping......will talk to you on Sunday about it.

well got the 520 conversion on the bike, so now its -1 and +4. So it aught to be pretty close for Arroyo as far as gearing goes.
I went to go see if they got the Parts at the local Kawi shop, when I checked in with the service guys he said it was done....I asked him where it was, he laughed and pointed at the show room....they put it out there with the shop race bikes......lol
so its pretty much done....except for plates and numers....so you all keep your fingers crossed for #37.....
