Clunky gearbox
Hi all i bought a new 2007 ZX10R and i find the gearbox is clunky is this normal ?
its done just short of 400 miles and not had its first service yet .

Man dude I thought someone would help b ut since they didn't the only advice I can offer is ride it a few hundred miles and point it out to the dealer. Most new bikes now shift like BUTTER. My ZX14 did, this new '08 R1 does, and your sweet ZX10 "should"

I suspect these folks only WRITE about ZX10's, they don't own a litre bike. (cept GUNNER and maybe his just isn't an '07)

as with any bike don't be lazy on your shifts.be quick and firm.adjust your gear change pedal down as for as you can handle so you can get good leverage,put mobile 1 for cars in after 750 miles or so.
i feel this oil to lose it around 2000 miles on my zx12r.i have 42000+ miles

my 04 Zx10 shifts silky smooth, my old 12 was kind of clunky....found that some oils mde it better or worse...
