08 10 is very sweet
Now this is more like it. Love my black '04 and it will remain in the stable. Wasn't completely keen on the '06-07 model. Little heavy, little tame. I can tell you the '08 is very, very tasty indeed.....

For now, the picture has to mostly tell the story......
I can say that one very cool feature that I personally liked is the easily removed tail light/mud flap assembly. Almost like they had track days in mind for the consumer. Making a small, clean fender eliminator kit will be very simple and completely clean up the rear section.
The bodywork/fairing seem to come off with much less effort as well. Fit and finish is really good and well thought out.
And of course the exhaust change is very substantial; in more ways than one....
I don't know when it will be released. I believe most of the open class Kawasakis have historically been around Feb ??? Not sure.

The editorial in cycleworld was really good.
Kawi seems to have burned midnight oil with this one!
lower 1st, 4th, 5th gears, lighter crank assembly, and work to the frame for torsional flex and feedback!
Sounds really tasty.
Of course, I luuuuv the black one!

the 08 ZX10 is NICE. But hold on, its no sectret the Honda 1000 will dominate the shootouts for 2008 (and the race track). I just can't get past the Honda looks but just as I predicted in threads since long before details were even a rumor - Honda will clearly and easily dominate for '08.

Note the date on this thread and I warned everyone "I'll be back to bump this thread"

Consider it bumped. And when the shootouts and track results are in, I'll bump it again :P

Yes I agree the 2008 HONDA sales will beat Kawi too, on the track, on the road, and in front of all gay/lesbo bars!
They'll sell about as many as Suzuki sold 'busa bikes... wait I take that back. I couldn't stand the looks and bought a Yami....

The zx10 has been totally revamped, after reading the article about the 08 zx10 in cycleworld recently, lowered 1st gear, and 4th, 5th, increased rpm ceiling, -1 rear, and 1lb lighter crank... I gotta say , the naysayers will very likely be eating crow!
The 08 zx10 is going to be "THEE" nasty little bastard!

ok, we'll revisit this after the shootouts and track trials. I may eat crow, but I don't think so
