4 more days until 08 ZX10R
Let the countdown begin, Sept 10th is suposed to be the day.
Any predictions of what it will be?
Any wishes you hope it to be?
It looks like the CBR is going for the Lightweight award for 08, still no idea of (crank)hp or technology(trac-control?) as it isn't gonna be officially released until Sept 28th. Will the ZedEx be the hp king? 170-180 at the rear wheel? Will it see the 430-ish wet weight of the 04 ZX and possibly the new CBR? Sept is like Christmas with the new bikes coming out.

I want to know if they brought the afterburner effect and tall 1st gear that the 05 had back.
It seems like all the new track bikes aim to cut low end grunt and "hits" in favour of more linear and predictable power delivery...makes sense, but it would be nice if the bike had two modes: race mode and hooligan street mode.
I miss doing 190 km/h in first gear with the front wheel in the air!

However there seems to be some confusion as to the 10th or the 12th. So either 1 or 3 days to go.

I don't think that's it.
Where's the front turnsignals?
The front brake rotors look too small.
The kickstand is damn near going into the chain.

I believe that this is the real one. No one want to spent that much time for photoshopping both sides perfectly. But we will see in next couple days.

I hope Superhawk sub-300mm rotors can slow it down. And usually turnsignals are at least partially visible from the sides so you don't have to be directly in front of the bike to see them.

If that is the new 10, and it's my impression that it is, it's hideous. However, the good news is, you can clearly see it is a clean sheet of paper design. Moreover, you can see that there are strong motoGP derived elements from the shape and apparent aerodynamic considerations of fairing design, the swing arm etc. I think this puppy is going to haul, handle razor sharp and kick some serious liter class ass.
