Anyone want to buy a fully built 1051cc zx10 motor???

Hey guys, well plain and simple Im going to college and I need money to live and pay for a new car.

I have a fully built motor that should in the 190+ range pretty easy, i have dyno sheets and all of before and after but its on a factory pro dyno but here is the list of mods in this motor:

# Kawasaki racing intake camshaft degreed to 107/103 currently
# JE 2mm+ Pistons with 13.5:1 compression
# Total Seal Gapless Rings
# Falicon Supercrank
# Falicon Billet clutch basket
# Ceramic transmission bearings
# R&D motorsports undercut tranny with low st gear
# Factory Pro Evo 7 shift star
# KWS worked head

makes awesome power, has about 2,000 miles on tis brand new motor.

Looking in the 5,000 dollar range for it, it will cost you more than that to get all of this work done.

I will also trade motors if you dont have to much of a beating on it.

email me at garth285@hotmail.com or IM me on AIM at garth285.

I don't mean to be an ass here but Garth isn't this the motor that promptly eat itself up this spring? If my memory serves me right it eat a clutch basket and the rings never did seal properly? What did you do to correct these problems? Last I kept up with it the thing needed to be replated and the #3 connecting rod whipped the piss out of the Billet basket. RIGHT? Surely the crank took as piss whippen from that as well? Is it fixed now?

If it's all fixed cool, BUT nothing pisses me off worse than someone passing one a basket of troubles.

nope, everything is fixed, this is my daily drive motor........

the crap ass JE and wiesco rings were replaced with total seals gapless rings which eliminated any blow by......i highly recommend these rings as well !!!!

As for the basket, I sent it back to falicon and turns out they gave me their first modle of their basket which had way less clearance on it and it thats when the #4 connecting rod bolt nut was tapping the basket. Falicon sent me out a new one and ive been happy since then.

the block was sent back out to get re-plated but ever since then it has been an awesome motor..... un touchable in my area so far..... well atleast no one wants to try lol.....

I fully gaurantee this motor.... this will come out of my pride and joy and it sucks to sell it because im in love with the power but to be honest im farkin broke and Im gunna have some serious bills in the next year so i need to come up with some extra cash to cover everythign or im shit outta luck!!!

Good to hear you got it straitened out. 10-4 on the rings. The Nicka plated liners require a completely different approach on ring seal. You can't just use a standard ring like the good old days. BUT I would think that by now both these companies would know that. Total Seal rings are top notch for sure. Good Luck

Huron South Dakota....kinda doubt it would be practical...am entertaining the idea...not a whole lot more at the moment but thoughts..

I question reliability on a built motor...just reasonable questions.. does not hurt to converse .. I am sure many folks would like a built motor as you have .. no doubt there,,,
