Speed vs. Fox News
Anyone else think that Fox Sports should stay away from Motogp??? Coverage sucked and they talked to us like we are kids! Normally watch the races on motogp.com but was psyched to watch it live and Fox sucks. How many laps were missed in a 30 lap race due to commercials. And i don't care about pit interviews, I want to watch the race.
Speed does a good job with AMA, what you all think?

I do think Moto Gp on national TV could be a good thing for the sport, and when talking to a general audience, do have to dumb it down ? or do they bring knowlegable commentators
and raise the bar ?? I say raise the bar  NO MORE DDD :d

I recorded it but haven't watched it yet, (just got back from Laguna) The good part is I subscribe to MotoGp.com and can watch their coverage commercial free. I saw most of their coverage on a monitor at the track. I wonder how Fox is going to integrate Bush's spin on the whole thing in there.

That's so funny I thought the same thing. They talked to us like we were a bunch of kids. Even my girlfriend got a kick out of the comment, you don't steer the bike with the handle bars...

I think the guys from World SBK should commentate on every race. MotoGP, AMA and every thing else. I like those guys.

Motogp is the only way to watch these races... what did Bush have to say about the event??? Cant wait for Indy, bought a few tix last week after the announcement, is it a huge party???

Since Fox owns Speed, this was probably a trial to see how the ratings were for motorcycle racing on mainstream TV. I thought the commentary was dumbed-down so NASCAR dads could understand what was happening, as Sheheen and Spencer aren't usually that patronizing. They're still way better than the CBS team. In all fairness, Schwantz isn't supposed to be the colorful one, but his co-host really really sucked.

Didn't know that speed was owned by Fox so my bad there! they did suck. can't wait for the break to be over and can't wait for next september...
