Annoying rattle..found
I was looking for an annoying rattle in the front faring almost since the bike was new. I had tied down almost everything and still it persisted. Finally yesterday I found it. There is a plastic plate on the bottom of the front faring and the way it is secured in the rearmost side is what is causing the rattle. The plate sits in a groove and it just rattles around in that groove. I took a piece of velcro (loop side) and wrapped it around the edge of the plate where it sits in the groove and the rattle is gone.

Honestly I think the rattles come from many different places. The worst noise the thing makes comes from the motor once it's up to temp. The damn thing sounds like it's a pea thrasher until you turn the loud handle past 8 K. Then everything becomes perfect sounding. I love this pile of junk

FBA the rattle I found was not in that article.
