Get them out NOW! We've lost the war [to civilize these savages] and it's time to cut our losses and regroup and fight somewhere else.

Bush didn't realize he was fighting multiple wars, what good is it, if us, [conservatives] win in Iraq but lose the war domestically and the Republican Party is wiped out for 10 years or more and the USA's ability to wage war in the future against our enemies is not feasible politically because of 5 fucking years of being sitting ducks for roadside bombs.

If Bush gets them out now, Republicans might have a chance for president.

Bullshit, you are wrong, this is unequivocally a political thread and requires more than " gee wiz support the troops" reply..........

That is if you're a thinking American with broader interests than a one track motorcycle mind.

Redelk, I do not know 1 person that is against any of our troops anywhere in the world! Saying that, I also do not know amyone that thinks being a referee between 3 groups that want to kill each other has helped "REDUCE" terrorism here in the US. We need to be in Afganstan but not Iraq. They (The people that Run the country) are going on a "2" Month Vacation! Our troops cannot even get out of the military AFTER their time has been served, a Back door draft. One of the reasons Germany lost the war was they ran out of troops to rotate and they all realized that they would die in action.

My wife and I went to Walter Reed Army Hospital and saw Mile after Mile of hall ways with fine young men an women all missing parts of their bodys. The youngest was 18 and the oldest was 40. Peggy could not bear to see it again but I did over and Over until Kawachan's Friends were discharged.

There is a HUGE difference between support for our troops and being against then being in Iraq! It was a PISS POOR PLAN to start with and to end with! all along we needed more to begin with and now that it is too late it is too late to send them to die now!

Exactly Vince, a two month vacation while our boys and girls are dying for their piece of shit country.

I bet you Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki is a Iranian double-agent, playing us off as fools, ready to turn the country over to the Iranian mullahs after we leave.

I believe!!! and I am sure to ask everyone that I see that was there. and every single one so far has said we are doing great things over there! and it would be a civil holocaust if we just picked up and left.
a young girl from Iowa was just killed on May 2nd and the day before she died she had talked to her dad and he said she told him she was happy and proud she was with all the difference they were making over there, and could not understand why the media was not reporting all of the great things they were doing. Her dad said he is still 100% behind this war and finishing it. I am also! God Bless our troops!

Of course you can!! Just that it is usually me and the Dog is the 14! OH Oh I can hear it now! Watch out!!. My problem (At least one of them) is 1 drop of American Blood is worth more than the entire Country. We are Spending Billions over there as fast as they can blow it up but we cannot move a trailer to New Orleans for the Homeless who do not have a car or the Match to blow it up.

MM, the only problem in Iraq is the same as Viet Nam. We can stay 1 day or 10,000 days, but as soon as we leave it will be like we were never there!

A Long time ago in this country they tried to tear down all of the slums and put people in nice housing. a few years the same people had NEW Slums. Kennedy said that you can only educate people out of the slums. We cannot educate people out of their religion or Politics.

Apparently not everyone who was over there agrees with you.

Of course this guy was only the commander of the entire 1st Infantry Division in Iraq, what the fuck does he know...

Or this guy...
quote:
President George W. Bush
The White House
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue
Washington, DC 20500

Dear Mr. President,

Today, in your veto message regarding the bipartisan legislation just passed on Operation Iraqi Freedom, you asserted that you so decided because you listen to your commanders on the ground.

Respectfully, as your former commander on the ground, your administration did not listen to our best advice. In fact, a number of my fellow Generals were forced out of their jobs, because they did not tell you what you wanted to hear -- most notably General Eric Shinseki, whose foresight regarding troop levels was advice you rejected, at our troops' peril.

The legislation you vetoed today represented a course of action that is long overdue. This war can no longer be won by the military alone. We must bring to bear the entire array of national power - military, diplomatic and economic. The situation demands a surge in diplomacy, and pressure on the Iraqi government to fix its internal affairs. Further, the Army and Marine Corps are on the verge of breaking - or have been broken already - by the length and intensity of this war. This tempo is not sustainable - and you have failed to grow the ground forces to meet national security needs. We must begin the process of bringing troops home, and repairing and growing our military, if we are ever to have a combat-ready force for the long war on terror ahead of us.

As someone who served this nation for decades, I have the utmost respect for the office you hold. However, as a man of conscience, I could not sit idly by as you told the American people today that your veto was based on the recommendations of military men. Your administration ignored the advice of our military's finest minds before, and I see no evidence that you are listening to them now.

I urge you to reconsider your position, and work with Congress to pass a bill that achieves the goals laid out above.

Respectfully,

Major General Paul D. Eaton, USA, Retired

AT least in Nam there were only the North and South! In Iraq we have the North (Kurds) South Shiete (So close to Sh-t) and the Central by the Sunni. The add to that the Baah party of Saddam, the "NOW" insurgents from every other Arab state then Alcaida and it make Viet Nam look like a Picnic! Did I mention the Outside influences like Jordan on our side, and Iran on the other side plus the Mullas that control all of the different Religious Factions. Then there are just the Plain Criminals out to get what they can.

We cannot control the violence in Washington DC or New Orleans or New York, what the Hell0 are we doing in an area where they Kill the Lord and it was so bad that the Lord had to Flood the entire region and Burn up a lot of the other areas! You think Bush can do better than the Lord?

It all gets rather confusing over there. For example, why did the Lord tell His chosen people they had to cut off the end of their you know what, while the Arabs got the oil

Support our troops and their commander in chief or get the fuck out. Its so easy for folks to second guess everything when they don't have all the facts. Most people that are bitching know nothing of the true heroic efforts our government and soldiers provide. SUPPORT is not backstabbing your own side. What you can do is vote when you get a chance, but for now let's stick together and kick some ass. You can't second guess the president when you don't have the same info in front of you. Most people that complain HAVE NO CLUE what is really going on and the true reasons for our country's actions. They just sit on thier ass and bitch while the true patriots keep us safe. There has not been one attack on our soil since 9/11. THANK YOU to our soldiers and president for keeping us safe.
Thanks redelk for the inspirational video and Vince and blue move out if you don't like it.

Jesus fucking Christ, do I need to spell it out for you, in a year and a half, the Iraq war is OVER no matter what, because the liberal democrats will have taken over the whole fucking country in the election.

Think, think, judges, supreme court, taxes and business, immigration, the extent of the horror is difficult to imagine.

So is it possible in a year and a half to make Iraqis a happy little band of brothers?

NO FUCKING WAY!

"You can't curse the cause and support the men dying for it" Thomas Paine... To tell these

men and women that their friends and comrades died for a worthless cause and they

shouldnt have been there is like spitting in there face.... and for the Bush bashers out there

if the liberals and other democrats would have let Bush do this war the right way we could

have already been out of there... But just like in Vietnam the weak liberals in this country

said ok you can go to war but you have to fight the big ole badass with one hand tied

behind your back. Then when the situation gets worse the same morons that said you

have to phase in our tropps starting with 5% of our military might and gradually increase

form there are Saying "How did you mess this up you are the worst president ever you

should have listened to us"... Thank God we live in a country where the morons have as

much a right to speak as those of us who are not afraid to vote our morals over our pcoket

books... And if that means I have to pay a few more dollars a week in taxes to keep our

military strong and keep EVIL MEN like Bill Clinton and a lot of other democrats from

legalizing and spending MY tax dollars on PARTIAL BIRTH ABORTIONS then so be it...

SUPPORT THE CAUSE AND THE TROOPS... any cause that an American soldier lays

down his life for is WORTHY

Thank You very much for the post. I did my tour in the army. I never got my chance to go. Every day I think about the soldiers, the brothers, and friends that went. Everyday I wished I could've been there with them. Not for glory, or recognition, but to have been there with them. I feel sometimes like I'm letting them down in some way. It's stupid to think that way, but sometimes I can't help it. I've lost some of the people I worked with, ate with, slept beside, trained with, and loved like brothers. They do deserve every ounce of support we can muster. Thank you very much for the video.
