Why is this a sticky in other forums? If people can't *SEE* the forum under all the others then they shouldn't even be driving a car, let alone a bike.

Hey have you tried the newer 6?
It just freakin amazing IMO how much different the 600 are every couple of years.
It's almost like since they can't go faster with the big bikes, because the Government has asked them to - they have amped all their technology into making the 600 the killer machines.
Or maybe it's because people in Japan buy the 600 and they want to buy a new bike every couple of years.
???
Whatever the reason is - I am amazed at how they can build a COMPLETELY new and improved bike every couple of years.
I went from my 00 to an 04 to an 07.

Yeah, I rode an '06 636 this year. My buddy has a lime green one. Power wasn't too different if any, but I did like the seating better. His is more upright. My '03 the clipons are LOW compared to his '06. I liked the ergonomics and feel of his better. His was more comfortable of a ride. I threw it from side to side in some tight turns, but he has stock suspension settings, mine I tweeked with, so mine felt more comfy in the turns. I'd love an '07, but I think my next bike when I do get one, I'm going to do something other than a 6, like maybe a 10, to see what that bike is about.

I guess I will share my first bike as well, man I do miss her!!! It could beat just about any other 600 and take the turns like no other!! I would recomend this bike to anybody!!!!
