Dana's ZX10...138mph 1/8
Been a LONG time since I've been here but...
HAD to tell you...
Dana Just Called me (from the Rock)...
We went 2mm JE on his bore, Ryan did some work on the head, STOCK CAMS degreed "safe" for spray...
Motor made 182+Hp 86+Ft on every pull after mapping (110 fuel, NO OXY), Shinko Tire...
FIRST SprayPull...251Hp 139FtLb ...
I know I have a lot of catching up to do here but just had to post...
He ran (with some spin...1.45 60Ft.) 5.61 @ 137.96mph...8.60 almost 160 1/4-mile on the limiter because it needs more gear now...
He is NOT a "Small Rider" Bike is about 65" long...

Kickass Dana, great riding. 138 in the 1/8th is wicked MPH, it's gonna go a lot quicker in the 1/4 when it's geared for it. Good job SM2W.

Congrats! That bike has always ran strong when I seen him run it a few times and like you said he is no light weight jockey. I do not know him though but do know the bike.
I'm jealous, that is great n/a hp for the mods. Ya know i'm no dragracer and just like hp and mine will be coming over there for mapping whem MJM ever finishes the motor and after a break in than have ya install a small shot we never did do. I look forward to overlapping the maps you did with the old motor and the new one.
FWIW I prolly would never had taken it over there if I was not promised the moon on the build time it did start off quickly than the sky fell out or something. I told him I was coming over to pick up the motor and parts I paid for and taking to you guys and finally progress is being made. Never did BS me with bogus excuses just said he was so busy and hard to get techs that can do it the day to day work and allow him to work on my motor and this work he can only do but fuck 10 months now I guess he has some good techs now...
There was no surprises on my motor I pulled it out, broke it down most of the way and knew I blew a head gasket and detonated some pistons plus that crud you noticed when you mapped my bike was still in there ugly looking head when i remved it...I bagged and marked everything and left it for his inspection before going forward. Now If i just dropped it off and said go fix it could understand the long build time but not the case here. I'm sure when al ldone and finished the bitterness will be replaced by a big grin
He said he worked for SMTW and always says good things about you Ryan and especially Henry. First thing he said bike once the motor is completed SMTW will be the only place he will allow it to be mapped. Thats pretty good endorsement coming from a competior

Yes...Stock bottom end (all new bearing though) and R&D Undercut Tranny...
Tried to get him to install Carrillos, but he said no (money)...
He ran all year last year with our NO2 Set-up (SEVERAL 50Lb bottles) with Stock Pistons...
Finally hurt a piston when I went up on the jets without changing the Cam Timing...
