I suppose anything's possible, depending on your abilities and creativity. I do know the 10R swingarm works, with very little modification. I've often thought of such a thing. A friend of mine has a pipe bender.....
Good luck on that project, very cool idea.

...that's what I'm talking about....was it a straight swap?....or was there a little bending and prodding?....nice!

...never mind...I linked to the 'other side' and read all about it...well, as much as was revealed....so instead of quirky handling by using the 10R's front end, why not just use the front end of an '05 12R and keep the stock swingarm?....are the beakes different between the 10R and the '05 12R?

Yep.........I read it too..........
Have no desire for any quirky handling either. I would like to use some 10R wheels and have radial brakes though..................... Good idea worm~hole............

THe wheels aren't a strait swap either. Hub width is wider on the 10R wheels up front. Notice the rotor hub is flat on the 10R and dished on the 12. I measured it all up at one time.
Just love the 12R for what it is and don't waste a ton of money trying to make it a 10R. It has been done already long ago by Lucky12R. You can get close but NO WEEEE OOOO!!!

I would just like to lighten the wheels and have radial brakes. It could be buying aftermaket wheels and swapping an 05 front end might be the only straight forward and cost effective way to do that..................was hoping 10R wheels would work, those can be had WAY cheaper............oh well..............

...so how'bout a complete 04-05 12R front forks/radial brakes and ZX-14 wheels?...would the 14 wheels swap onto the 12R's 04-05 front forks and 00 rear swingarm?....that would be waaaaay cool...I'd like to do this with Racetech front revalve and a Penske or Ohlins for my geared-up weight (today would be 265~275lb???) and call it a day...then I'd like to do a 1275cc to help move that tonnage )

I'd go for the 04-05 front end.........................but as good looking as the 14 wheels are, I'm pretty sure they are heavier than the 12R's wheels.
"move that tonnage" heh heh...........I hear ya..........I'm startin' to "ton" out myself..........
