Sold!
My 10R is gone. Gotta make room for the D16. Besides, it's hard to look at a 10R and not get a nauseating visual of big daddy's Buell wannabe. Anyone know if he's painted the frame blue yet?

Desmosedici. Hope to have it by year's end. You'll have to start a .ORG for it so I can bait and insult myself.

sponghead... your wish is our command..
Desmosedici-rr.com and d16-rr.com will dump you into the Ducati D16-RR section of the site...
give it a day or so to populate the DNS.

I'll keep mine, but she's definitely my track bike now.

Open ended question fans:
Did the ZX-10R quit being a powerfully great and versatile motorcycle??
Some guys just get bored and try different ones then?
I plan to keep mine for another 5 years or more....it does all I could ever want and it"s economically wiser to keep $$...
too good a bike to trade up or get rid of..
Confuses me a bit why the need for another bike that may not even outperfrm it .. ZX-10R lends to mods if one desires very well...
I plan to raise eventually performance to my liking ...just for more fun and to keep things bit more interesting; ...would not spend the cash for another bike...not when this 2004 ZX-10R has so much potential...
I am sure I am not alone in this rational...just my 2 cents....
have fun...

Direct quote of text message from purchaser: "Holy crap 10r is faster than hot balls"
Another quote: "It's like right now!"
I guess he's happy. Coming as he has from a 2002 R1 with cams, headwork, etc, I can see why a stock 10r would seem scary fast.
