04 / 06 frame differences, salvage 10s
Hey folks, I parted out my ZRX and am in the market for a salvage ZX10 to go land speed racing. Engine and frame must be solid, all else is negotiable. Anyway, I was talking to a shop owner who had an 06 wreck, and he seemed to think that the 06s had stronger frames than the 04s, heavier, more resistant to damage. Any truth to this, or is he just singing me a song?
Clearly there are more 04-05s out there, and I'm aware of the engine and frame geometry changes in the 06, but has anyone experienced frame issues with minor spills?
I tried the search function, any advice is appreciated. Also, if anyone knows of a wrecked 10 for sale, I'm interested.
