Greetings from Mosul Iraq

Howdy all, just dropping you all a note to let you know I am still alive and kicking over here. Sorry its taken so long but we just got the net hooked up over here and its painfully slowwwwwwww.

Everything is going well here and I hope to make it home in August for leave, only time will tell. We still dont know when we will be leaving here though, so that part sucks. I hope to be home in time to race the entire 08 season with ASR in Demming NM. I had a blast in 06 with them, and hope to do a few things to the ZX10 or even pick up a new ZX6R to race with them, we shall see how it all goes.

Hope this finds everyone good and safe.

Later guys and dolls

The BMR boys have been doing some WERA, CCS and even some USGPRU events. Mostly eastern stuff, but they will be doing Miller. You ever run at Miller?

Rock on while your there, bro and keep your head down when it counts.

Mark, Kerry, Gunner, Sherm, Tool and everyone else, thanks for the thoughts, and prayers, they are all appreciated very much.

Sherm good luck to you and Jon and the BMR boys, may 07 be their year.
Kerry, the invite for you to come ride the dragon with the Smackhouse crew still stands, its not the Ortega, but I think you would like it...lol
Mark, buy you another bike brother, and lets ride when I get home, Kelly and I were talking a few weeks ago about what we need to do when I get home, and seeing you and Mel is on the top of the list, I miss ya brother, and the rest of the smackhouse fellas.
Gunner I fully expect to see you at a DG in 08....

keep it on the rubber fellas...see you here on the board more often now I have the net, and will see you all in person soon enough.

Rick/Chris sounds like a plan, looks like it will be a DG/ZX10R meet instead of ZX12....lol

They had a limited number of PS3's come in over here. lots of 360's around.

lol, I can only imagine...I read about that somewhere...I missed the Slippery Noodle this year, the highlight of Indy.....lol

It went badly for me for the first two races - wasn't ready mentally. Thomas had a good day, first in ULGP. I got about 5 sec quicker at the end of the day when I pulled my head out of my a** (just say 'pop'...) I need more seat time, so I'll go play in Vegas (a TD) at the end of the month, then get mean on Thomas next month. I'm going to have to skip AFM/Buttonwillow this month, which sucks, but hey, that's life for ya.

Roger's got the poster, I think. He handed out this GIANT monstrosity of a Beginner race trophy - no joke it was five columns at the base and four-and-a-half-feet tall.

no shit....thats cool.....I have no doubt that Thomas is going to be fast on that GSXR, he was stupid fast on that Bus. he just dropped 100 lbs and gained lean angle....and with the suspension set up right, he will be very tough to catch, maybe if I am lucky all you guys will be experts by the time I get back.....lol

If Roger has that, ask him to mail it to Kelly, I will send you the address via PM.....Thanks bro....

You will be plenty fast once you get in your groove...I have seen you rail around that track, just remember you do better and go faster if you dont over shoot corners....lol

awesome! We were worried that it wouldn't get there! The peeps at the canookian post office were very very confused about the zip code etc and had no idea how much to charge 4 postage... it was kinda funny!

BTW...I took that pic of Stewart!

Stay safe and post some pix!
