2006 ZX10 MODS
Do any of you guys know wether a guy could change the 06/07 zx10, so that the pipe comes out the same way as the 04's?

well thats not quite the same although improved. The 06,7 would be far more appealing with an 04 style exhaust exit its laughable but KHI instead chose to clutter up the tailend with 2 huge redwood for canisters.

I quite like the underseat cans, they're kinda sexy. I'm getting a full Akrapovic system, power commander and a K+N filter. It might make it more lively.

From what I've read, the 06 delivers more power but in a more useable manner. However, it does feel a bit soft in the first two gears though. I had this with my gixxer thou and a TRE fixed it. I was wondering if a TRE is available for the 10R 06?

Molly, mine's track only (your avatar makes me think yours might be?). I eliminated first gear by going -2 +2, and it pulls well from about 9.5k up - I never seem to need to dip below that.
As for the power, It's not all that explosive, IMO, but then I've got a soft-fuelling race map on the bike, too. I used to lie awake at night wondering about it before I got the 10R on the track - largely due to magazine articles crying that the bike was a beast and needed taming.
