WOW! It is surprising to see that knowone is willing to share thier sag setting's.

With such a Track oriented bike, you would think someone would have some feedback.

Anyone??

When you get past 45 you kinda prefer to stay mum about your sag.

The basic rule for total sag with rider is to use up 1/3 of your front travel. I don't think it matters what bike you have. Rear sag is usually a range of 3/4" to 1&1/4", depending on whether or not you ride with your jaw clamped.

everybodies sag is depending upon your body weight. So some else's sag will be different from what your should be.

Words like 'long top-out spring' have meaning. The suspension's designed to work in a certain range...

Much as I think Psycho's a nut, he probably wants the range so he can respring accordingly. With the proper spring in there, everyone's bike should sag the same amount. If there's a long topout spring in the forks, the sag needs to be at a certain point to not negate the spring as you ride.

I hear there are many geometry issues with setting up an '06 for spririted riding, which Psycho, as much of a whackjob as he is, definitely does. I ride an '04 and have it turning pretty darned well, but he didn't ask for my sag numbers.

kz2zx;

Since you know me very little,(actually, Not At All). I would like to know what you base your derogatory statements on.
My take on it is you are still "Butt Hurt " that I called you out some time ago re; your "alleged" perception on a few issues.

Your feedback on the subject is appreciated. However, Please keep on topic w/o throwing Darts.

You're still nuts, arguing on the Internet, sheesh. (Yeah, I know. Pot, kettle.)

BTW, were you at Main yesterday? I saw a truck/trailer with French's logo on it, and heard someone was out there on a 12R, also. I was there having a social visit with a couple of folks, not riding.

I don't really have any grudge, this was me poking sticks for fun, and I'd say it in person, too. FWIW, though, I don't think I could pick you out of a crowd - I remember your bike more.

Don't worry about the sag....just ride it hard! If it bottoms, change the spring!
