'04 Full System or Slipon?

I would like to get a big race sound out of my bike. Going to a full system like a Hindle set up, would I be getting a more killer sound over just a slip on? I know you need more engine mods with a full system, is the power commander enough?

Thanks for any help or suggestions.

"Big race sound" can be had many ways with a Slip-On. A shorter muffler and/or larger core will produce more sound. Area P has customers with '04-05 ZX10's who purchase 12" or 14" mufflers with large 2.5" cores for big sound and shorty type style. A PC3 is not necessarily required with a Slip-On.

Going with a full system, which normally will have larger primary tubes, mid-pipe, etc. can also increase sound. But the sound level is still dependant on what they do with the muffler/megaphone section.

A highly modified engine can emit a unique exhaust tone compared to a stocker. Having "more engine mods" are not necessary with a full system. That being said, "normally" a full system can be exploited to it's potential with engine mods, depending on if this is what the manufacture's design criteria encompassed in the first place.
