Thinking of trading my 06 10 in on the 14 and getting the 6 for the track.
Black ZX-14 and Black ZX-6 side by side in my garage...now the only thing that can improve on that wet dream is if two gorgeous naked woman made out next to the bikes and I'm manning a video camera. . ;P

You know? That video seemed slow... I mean watching it, the bike didn't seem to be ridden that hard.

Agree it does not look fast compared to the 10 on the video, but...
I got the impression that it was the intent of the director to show the ZX-6 in a scenario where a rider gets on the bike for the first time and takes it around the track at jogging pace to get to know it, then stop to make a few adjustments and then to start working on lap times.
Just my take on the vid; I'm sure the ZX-6 will be pretty quick in the right hands.

Yes, I got that quite clearly. After the compression adjustment was made on the shock, he picked it up.
But he (the rider) still seemed slow after that point... I'd rather see the knee firmly down, wheelieing out of the corners, leaving darkies and smoke puffs, slipperclutch into the corner with the rear out... Maybe that would seem scarey to European markets, I guess.
The 10R video gave a sensation of huge speed - as the camera panned and swept, the bike was clearly flying. This one... dunno.
Anyway, I'm not sure I'll sell my '05 for an '07 just yet. I'm not Team Green sponsored, so I'll spare the expense this year. Now, for '08, I might.

I'm with you on the 08 - I love the 06 but it has a weird handlebar offset thing that is really annoying to me, I'm hoping they do a major upgrade to the bike again in 08...some styling improvements will be welcome too. I think they should head hunt the designers thats working on the R1 and incorporate them in the ZX-10 team over at Kawasaki..

Yah, I'm waiting for a 08 overhaul too. Although that 07 R1 is trying to burn a hole in my pocket. Also the 07 1098 Ducati has a list price of 15,000 and a claimed weight of 386lbs thats got me wishing. Kawi better come strong in 08 because I only plan on racing the 05 one more season.
