head gasket.

can anyone tell me what head gasket this is ? kawasaki P/N 11004-0023.
Also , is there any gain installing a thin gasket without doing anything else ?
What would the compression be after this install ?
thanks , later.

That's the thinnest Kawasaki Race head gasket.. It should get you about 1/2 pt compression increase. It's the same one I use and I always keep a spare one here just in case.. I suggest you do the same.. Kawasaki has a way or dropping part numbers which would leave you in a pinch if they do.

It's a fairly good size project but if you're good with tools and understand how to take shit apart without breaking more than you fix it's nothing really to do

I am diong the head gasket this winter for sure. A tool box full of Snap-ons will make the job go easier. The cam chain is sounding a bit loose, so it is getting one of those as well.

I ordered the gasket last week, as well as a Brembo radial Master Cylinder and the new cam chain. Some good mods for next years riding season. I need the extra compression because most of my riding is above 5000 feet.

intake cam only. the exh cam kawi sells is smaller than stock. just the thin .55mm gasket and intake cam will wake the bike right up.
