I just bought an '05 636 MC off eBay for $75. I have ordered a set of Galfer SS lines to fit an '05 636 for $89. Can't see any reason they won't work but I will post up if they don't. Had to order a lever from ronayers for $45. Hope this is good bang for buck.

I had the '04 636 MC and it worked alot better than the '04 10 MC, it was a night and day difference. I have the '06 636 MC on it now and it works equally the same. I will upgrade to the 14 setup though, got it sitting in the box waiting for some free time.

I just ordered the Brembo 19/20 MC for mine, I already have the braided lines. I just couldn't help myself the Brembo unit is so trick. I am just the opposite of most folks and like the control of hard handle pressure and low movement.
As far as BD going to the gap for you guys to show him a real road, well BD and I are friends and live in the same area. The roads here would curl your hair. Our roads range from hairy to fuckin hairy. Ebbots pass will make you shit your pants, off camber, down to one lane fun. The truck route down the backside of Virginia City, a missed corner will launch you off a huge steep cliff. Granted most roads here aren't as long as the gap, but they make up for it in terms of technical nastiness.
Back to brakes, I am hoping that rather expensive MC is worth it.

I just couldn't help myself. Went to Kneedraggers.com and got 2 more pairs of ICON riding jeans and a pair of their Barrier Jeans for cold weather riding. A new set of the Michelin Power 2CT (two compound tread). I am going to order a thin head gasket tomorrow, as well as a new timing chain, mine seems to be noisy. It is close to winter and almost time to put things away and start working on them, hopefully there is a couple of riding days left.

Ted, I've forgotten if the '05 came with a radial MC or not. If it didn't, your current brake line might not work with the Brembo.

RE, thanks, the 05 did not come with a radial. Right now I have the aftermarket lines on it. If they don't work, not too big of a deal, I have all winter to reconcile the problem. The biggest problem is the brake light.

Our 55 degree days are all but over, most of the good roads here are up in the mountains where temperatures are much cooler. For the most part you can't even get your tires to warm up. Not to mention the sand already on most of the roads.

RE, after gleaning your article again (I don't have the attention span to actually read it all ) it reminded me that I didn't order a brake light switch. Ken at kneedraggers.com helped me and got one ordered. Thanks.
