Who is next for Kawasaki?

Since Nakano is leaving Kawasaki, who is next? They say they want an experienced rider. So will Gibernau ( who just lost his Ducati ride) be the one? Biaggi? Or another Japanese rider? I for one hope Biaggi gets picked. I am not a big Biaggi fan but he would breath fire into the Kawasaki team and just maybe start putting the bike up front.

YES....Biaggi has signed with Honda.

Gibernau.....maybe......he has some healing ahead of him, but he is already ahead of the curve being a development rider for Bridgestone, he would be an asset for the new 800cc machine.
At the same token, he IS an aging racer...AND egos can sometimes be a problem....not that he has any ego problems or anything like that.

We will see very soon.

Biaggi is taking Corser's spot at Suzuki's WSB team, not Honda.
Tamada will most likely pick-up where Nak left off as grid filler.

I think Spies is gonna spend his career cherry picken young up-and-comers and has-beens in AMA Superbike instead of moving up to WSB or GP, basically another Mladin. I think he'd do real good in WSB.

Kinda a waste, he's becoming one talented sombitch.

It is obvious the Kawasaki has come a long way. Now they need a rider who can bring it to the front and stay till the end.

Tamada seems to be the most likely, but bad choice imho, he was nowhere when he started using Michelins.
No Kawa rider on the podium in 2007 I fear

Tamada went to Tech3. Gibernau looks like a good candidate, but I would rather see Biaggi.

Is there something just a little creepy about mom's involvement? I know she has a title of "manager" but jeez. I think maybe the tit is still being suckled a little. Just me?

I was hoping they would get someone to light a fire under the Kwaks. The Bridgestones are competitive and the bike seems to be as well, topping the time sheets in some practice sessions. Too bad.

I was hoping Garry McCoy would consider going back. The guy knows how to win, slide, crash, wheelie, and entertain.
