ZX14 Calipers on a 2004 ZX10???
Has anyone tried this? I would imagine they'll fit. Correct me if I'm wrong, I haven't checked but,I believe that the rotors are the same diameter. The Nissins are the same ones on the 06 10 & they're a significant step up from the Tokicos. I got a Brembo 19x18 Radial master so these should be some serious binders when done. I'll get some pics up when I get an extra minute after it's done.

I very disappointed that Kawasaki didn't upgrade the 10R brakes to the 14 spec brake.. Just another reason why Kawasaki is falling way behind in the liter class.. They have the parts on hand BUT refuse to UPGRADE!! ASS WHIPES

It was the forks that are shared! I assumed the brakes went w/ the forks! That sucks for the 06 zx10 guys. But, it does answer my initial ? if the tokicos & nissins fit the 06 10 & 14 & the 06 10 & 04 10 use the same brakes then the 14's Nissins will fit just fine on my 04 10.. I have the calipers off a crashed 14. They have some superficial scuffs that I can make like new. Then I'll put them on & let y'all know how they work!

If i remeber right, the 14 calipers will not bolt right on. I think the rotor bottoms out in the caliper or there is a spacing issue. My memory is super fuzzy on this...I tried it back in march....
With a little time in the machine shop it will work, but i don't think it's a straight bolt on job.

Talk to me about the Brembo. Where did you get it? What model? Billet? How do you like it? I am going to get one this winter. How is lever travel with the 19x18?

Well, I'm gonna find out bout dat. I have machine shop access. Thats not a problem. I've got galfer waves, wouldn't want anything but pad touching them.
As far as the Brembo RM goes I got it off a crashed out track bike in mint shape. the feel is very progressive. The more you squeeze, the harder it multiplies the brake action. It is constant & consistent. I love it.
