Rossi can ram other racers off the track, ignore flags, you name it, FIM gives him what he wants. Wouldn't want to run him off to F1?

Hayden had better whine and try to get points any way he can. Because if that slow ass unreliable Yamaha doesn't break again, Rossi is going to snatch that championship back up. In a straight up race, on 16 out of 17 tracks, Rossi is just plain faster. and the only reason Hayden is faster at Laguna is because he has logged literally thousands of laps there and Rossi will probably beat him there too. Last year a few more laps and things would have been different. The only reason that Hayden is where he is, is because of someone elses bad luck. And even at that Rossi's sheer talent has reeled Hayden back in.

C'mon now Ted..........................Nicky has been on the podium all but a couple races this year. Even if Rossi would have won every race Nicky would still be second in points..........not bad against the worlds best riders and CLOSE competition in MotoGP. He is extremely talented or he sure wouldn't be where he is right now.

He would only be in second because Capirossi(early in the season) and Pedrosa(late in the season) are having the same luck as V. Rossi. Anyway it wouldn't matter. Races are won with skill and championships are won with luck.

"...championships are won with luck."

You gotta be shitting me. All it takes is luck to win a MotoGP Championship? Well how about that?

As far as luck how about the FIM looking the other way when Rossi rammed Sete off the track?
How about luck when the FIM looked the other way when Rossi ignored that flag?

As far as any DNF's this year, it was HIS decision to go to Yamaha, that move WASN'T luck.

I'm not taking anything away from Hayden, he is ultra fast and has good discipline, But he isn't in the same league as Rossi and now Caparossi. As for ramming and other things that happen on the track, take a lesson from Rossi, when he was torpedoed, his comment was " That's racing". Also the FIM did not look the other way because Rossi had lost the place back and they ruled that is all they would have do. Yes Rossi is aggressive, but that is the point of racing. Shit is going to happen, In the heat of racing one is going to overcook a corner and other stuff. It would be boring as shit if it was sterile.

Try to keep it in perspective. That asscar redneck rally shit is not in the same league as MotoGP and F1. If Dale Earhart ever had to turn right he would have had a fucking stroke.

Yes, they were all lucky not to have machanical problems and crashes. Ask Mladin who would be Superbike champion if not for a machanical problem. Ask Hayden if he is going to be MotoGp Champion because he is faster than Rossi ,Pedrosa, and Capirossi. Just to name a few. Hayden has only won 2 races, one of which Edwards crashes on the last lap giving him the win. Yet he leads the championship. That's not luck?

It's called consistency. The first half of the season he was always on the podium.

Part of that consistency is the fact that his bike didn't fukin break. If the other bikes were as good as the Honda, his podium count would have been much less. But that's racing.

No whining just plain fact!! an no thats not the only reason Nicky is quicker/faster & Laguna sheesh Oh man it doesn't take the absolute best riders in the world thousands of laps to learn the preferred line around a track AND no Rossi would not have caught Nicky last year with a few more laps, hell CE had to be caught first before getting a sniff of Nicky's tail pipe so YES NH has earned his place atop the points in 06.

essentially the top 10 bikes are all technically the same so the Yammi breaks, hell they can all break at any given moment so that luck stuff don't wash.

Go watch last years Laguna, he was reeling them in. Of course Hayden has earned where he is. But if you took away the DNFs that the Yamaha and Michelin caused and looked at the place where Rossi would have finished, Hayden would be a distant second. And if Caparossi was in the running, Hayden would probably be behind him as well. The next 2 races will tell the story, If Hayden can hang on, good for him. But Rossi is on a mission and in the eyes of most of the finest riders who ever lived, Rossi is the best they have ever seen.

Yes, but they didn't so it must be luck. Anything can break at any time, but luck is luck, The Yamaha quit twice so if it is the same, what was the reason for it.? But it is a moot point, The only way Hayen can win is if the other better riders have bad luck.

NBA is at least a sport. Football is 9 minutes of homosexual contact and 2 hours of has-beens talking smack. Hockey is the best by far. A combination of pro wrestling and roller derby on ice with big sticks and projectiles. How cool is that?
