Pity Kawi didn't take the option of making a couple of minor changes to the bike that would have seen it back on top.
1. Raise the rear swingarm pivot point 2mm.
2. Fit the Nissin calipers off the 14.
3. Implement a more ridgid Quality program on the chassis jigs to ensure that the frames are in spec off the line.
4. Increase the steering head angle .75 degrees.

Not big changes but OH what a difference in the outcome, a bit more punch in the upper mid range wouldn't go a stray. These are more from a Racing perspective but obviously a can of paint is cheaper!
