Will my stupidity cost me???? Have mercy with the comments as I'm going to tell you a real stupid thing I did.
Took my fiance out for a ride and then when she got off, I tried to look "cool" and did a little burnout. Broke the first rule of biking....NEVER DO ANYTHING ON A BIKE TO IMRESS A GIRL... (usually ends up in disaster). It was fun and a little smoky. Looked at my tire and now it has a "plato" in the middle part of the tire the width of about 4 fingers.
Is this going to affect my cornering and grip on take off? Theres still plenty of tread.

Not really. I tell you what though a good burnout will cost you about $20 per session coming off your tires. Its bad enough to replace the tires every oil change. Its an expensive show.

Once you get past that PUSSY trump card that women carry you'll stop doing shit like that. It's more fun anyway to have them thinking that you don't give a shit what they think anyway. That in itself will give the power over the pussy back in your hands NOT their's.

This was my first burn-out and I must say it felt F^% good.... She wasn't impressed. She called me retard... but you know what?? The feeling of a 10R rumbling and smoking up a tire made all of it worth it.... Now I know what it feels like and I can day I did one decent smoky. Women...they'll never understand what drinalin is all about....

Plateau. I blame Whole Language. That discredited shit did more damage to America than all the Muslim crackheads could ever hope to do. Your tire is still fine for what you will be doing on it.
