Anyone retrofit the front mast. cylinder assembly to an 04/05 10R? Does it fit?

06 has a radial master cylinder... just put 3300 + miles on a 14 with the same mast,. cylinder... brake pressure is immediate and very impressive... made me wanna put that on my 10.

I ordered one last week and should be here monday. I let you know what you need. My 05 master cylinder died last track day, so I figured I get a 19mm radial Nissin for $170 than a Brembo,PVM, AP,or Magura for hundreds more I know you can get the cast ones for alot cheaper but still not $170.00

Fish, better make sure you take the Nissin calipers with the master as well. We have tested many combinations and find the best setup as follows. 19x20 Brembo master with mid pin position lever, braided steel lines and 04/05 callipers with EBC HH pads running SRF fluid.
We have had problems with the 06 callipers leaking and losing the lever after a few laps also cracking at the pad pin hole? The 04/05 calipers hold a better lever on bleed up and no cracking problems, the 06 items appear to be softer in material if that makes any sense we remove the dust seals and linish the pistons with 1200# wet and dry.
Assemble the brake system and pump the pistons all the way out then force the pads back and place a metal packer the exact width of the disc's then force the caliper onto the mounting and nip up.
To seat the pads and caliper you spin the wheel and apply the brakes several times and on the last spin hold the brake lever then torque the bolts and this should give you the absolute best brake feel on this brake system.
Pumping the pads all the way out and forcing the spacer in reverse bleeds the caliper head and lines all the way back to the fluid container a quick check on the master and you are set to go.
I spent a weekend with a ZX14 and yes the brakes are a big step up on the 10R system so it will be interesting to see if this system goes on the 07 10R much more reinforcing around the mounts and ribbing on the caliper its self.
Found the 14 an interesting bike.

Yea, Fish I put an 05 636 Radial master on my 10 several months ago. It helped some but there's more that need addressed than the master. I've changed just about everything besides the calipers and I'm still NOT 100% tickled with the brakes yet. I think I'm going to use some Vesera SRJL pads next. They are suppose to be unreal. We'll see I guess. They are unreal expensive is all I know.

Ok I put the new 19mm Nissin daytona radial racing master on today. Its a large unit, bigger than my friends cast brembo and my stock unit. But in hand it feels to be the same weight as my stock. It takes the stock banjo, so I feel I already won in my book. Although I can't swap my Pazzo or my stock lever if this one breaks, it comes with a large machined lever rather than the cast stock lever. With the rbf600 running through the artery it feels as good if not better than the Brembo 19x20. But to be honest he hasn't bleed his brakes in 2 months. It also has a nice bleeder valve. Through my inspection of the old unit I found the two culprits of its death. One broken spring. Two a small pocket in between the piston and banjo threads holding a bit of air that would be impossible to bleed without the master bleeder valve. Anyway its a very nice unit for $170.00 if you on 1888fastlaps racer support program, other wise its 185.00.
