SUPERBIKES! What gives with this show?
Well, just watched the latest episode of "SUPERBIKES" . Was under the inpression that they were gonna feature the trackday at Poconos. Got about 3 min. of 1 second chops. The Lombardi Bros. were the only "Quality Clips" of the show.What a disgrace to real riding. They portrayed N.Y. sport riders as a bunch of city trolling,slow riding "stunters". So "NOT" what I believe real Superbikes are about. Can't stand being misrepresented! I feel a little stupid telling people to tune in to this program thinking it was gonna be a trackday oriented episode.
This episode does not represent the way I ride in any way other than the very limited track footage!!!!

What kills me is they did a pretty good run on the ZX14 last week!

They represented a portion of the NY sportbike scene, the stunters. I thought it was pretty cool. They also showed a NY riding club at the Poconos on one of their track days.

Yea, I was there. They did a terrible job of showing the track day. They spent more time on the guy that rode his 189hp (yea, right) cbr1000rr to the track. They didn't show more than a 1 sec. clip at a time of the riders actually riding. They were at the track all day & showed like 2 min. worth of 1 second clips.
The guys they filmed(the stunters) are all local guys that I see quite often(& used to ride with until they decided to gear their bikes for 89mph top speed). What's the deal w/ this w.coast vs. e.coast crap they were running. If you ask me I thought it was a poor representation of sport riders in my area.
I don't want to be represented by that type of riding. But, that is just my opinion.
I found it entertaining to watch years ago when it first started up for about 20min.
Just not what I consider to be riding. Their road trip was a perfect example of that! They went from Astoria Park to Manhattan. Well, if you take the long way &
make it a round trip you've went 10 miles & that's taking the real LONG way!
And yea, unfortunately I think the guys on the west coast were probably rolling on the floor when the comment was made that the West Coast couldn't get a run together to equal theirs!

It definitley seems to geared toward stunters, not my kind of riding either. Maybe it's because I dont have the balls for it. I also agree that the dude on the CBR1000 with the 189 at the rear was full of it.

Wow, that's pretty wild! Not that you saw me shakin Steve's hand but, that you know that was me! How'd you do dat?
And as far as the PR goes, Those A-holes from S-bikes came over to ME & asked me to position my truck for some parting shots for the show. I didn't ask them. They came to me.
I got a headache trying to keep up with the 1 second clips of track footage.

You need some quick eyes to catch that clip of me! Steves' good people! I was hoping to make the FUSA Course on thurs. Dont look good though, smoked the 10's Clutch this past weekend. I got my hands on that fuel we talked about. Put in the 10 & it pulled just under 168hp w/ shit clutch & no tune!
I may have to steal the wifes 636. Or, if I'm feelin' real ballsy I'll run the 14!
