Bent header pipe

I bent my header pipe( Arata full) the other day racing. Will it affect or hurt anything??? Or do i need to buy 2 header pipes from Arata. the dent is about 1/4" or maybe a little bigger.

That's a tough call man. If you have the money to spare go ahead. Will it really affect your lap times? most likely not. Its one of those things, just like having your first dent in your brand new car. You'll get over it after 3 weeks, lol

You can repair it. here it a few ways 1. Half ass way. Driil a small hole and use a dent puller. then patch the hole by using a over the counter exhaust/muffler patch or weld it shut. If you weld it shut you need to know the exact type of titanium used or it won't work. 2. My way. I can use this way because I have some really high grade epoxies and urathanes I work with. I scuff up the dent, apply a superstrong epoxy with a bolt sticking out to grap on to and pull the dent. That way only works if you have a wide soft dent. then you put the pipes on and when you heat up the exhaust the epoxy will burn and release.

Doubt it will make any noticeable difference.
If it really bugs you, drill a hole 180 degrees opposite of the dent, large enough to get a blunt instrument (like 1/4" round stock). Then heat up the dented area with a rosebud or similar, while manipulating the tool through the hole to push it out. When done, simply weld up the hole.

Im with tigger i dont believe it will cause any form of restriction, 1/4 inch is just not enough, no offense to the other suggestions, but drilling a hole in it and pulling it or repairing it is like pulling the dash on a brand new car, you might be opening a can of worms, i say get yourself a nice can honda spray polish or pledge clean it up nice and shiney and call it a day.

wont make any difference

aesthethic only!!!!!

if you have a friend at a body shop
they have a pneumatic dent puller
that welds itself to the dent.......usually steel or sheet metal only
then pulls the dent up & out
then you sand & buff

still a lot of effort
if you race
you will do worse eventually
save your money

good luck
