Honda polish cleaner
I went to the local shop today to get some Honda spray polish. I couldn't believe it when they told me that it was pulled off the market. Apparently the EPA had some problem with the cleaner so Honda decided to pull it. If you never used this cleaner, you missed out on some good stuff. I have tried other cleaners/polishes and nothing comes close. When I got home today I got right on the computer and found a distributor that still has some and ordered a case of it. My wife said that I acted like it was an emergency that I found the cleaner, which it was. I should have known that anything that works that good would bad for the enviroment. Like I told my wife, I don't care if I have to wear a respirator when I use the stuff. The important thing is that my bike gets clean. In case you want to order some here is the address to where I ordered mine. http://www.hondadirectlineusa.com/valkyrie/byProduct.asp?prd=Cleaning+%26+Polish&ID=67893214

I have some of the Honda polish cleaner. I have found something I like better. Eagle one Nanowax. It is a clear wax that you can use on any painted, plastic, plated, glass, or textured plastic It fills micro scratches and goes on dead clear. I have been using it on my Black truck and the results are very impressive. Being clear it can be used like any detailer. But especially the textured plastic pieces look like new. You can use it on windows and clear plastic. Not greasy like pledge, and Armor All. Started using it on the bike and am very satisfied.

I work for Honda motor company and I have not heard that they are pulling the spray polish cleaner. In fact they are starting to use it on one of there Bulletins, for fading dash boards on Acura TL's. But you are right simon Honda spray polish cleaner is the best for making that bike shine and keeping it clean. You can buy it over the counter at any Honda or Acura dealership.

The best? There are many products that significantly outperform that stuff. It's a mediocre cleaner at best. Nearly useless on the bugs around here anyway. Their HP chain lube is the best I've ever found though. If they pulled that I'd be sad.

I have tried to use other cleaners that did not compare to the Honda polish, I have not found any thing that comes close to the performance of that cleaner. If anyone knows of any cleaner that will do better please let me know and i will try it.
Honda polish shines cleans and protects the paint. leaves a nice LUSTER! Hell at times it cleans windows, toilet bowls, and can even tune the bike up.

But it does leave a greasy film behind. The only thing about it I don't like. I picked up some of that Nano wax today. It's the bomb!

When the local bike shop told me it was pulled I called the local Honda dealer and they told me the same thing. A couple of the places that I called to see if they have it any more were out of it and some were back ordered. Perhaps it is not available in Maryland any more. I know that Maryland is getting picky like you can't buy oil based paint in gallon cans anymore (in some stores). I didn't try to get it in Pennsylvania but I assumed that Honda pulled it nationwide.

Nah its still on the shelf, like i said we use it on dash boards for fading. Which we just got those instruction from a TSB. I dont understand why they are pulling it, ill check with with my DSM from Honda motor comapny. I have several case's still in stock.

Pro Polish is some good stuff no doubt. Novus to, works wonders on face sheilds. I have got a couple cans of the Honda stuff but mostly all I've used is some cheap assed furniture polish that says "compare to pledge" on it. It's a buck a can, and a can will go a LONG way for sure. My bike shines like new money and is lemony fresh.
All the dudes at the gap wanted to give me shit about it, but they can't deny the results. I'm a cheap bastard, but I sure have a clean and shiny bike. LOL

I think I'll try some of the nanowax, Eagle 1 usually has good products.
