My 04 was 158 Hp ,77ft# with a full Arata ,BMC street ,custom map. Stock air filter made the same power. The Arata weighed 4.5 # less than the stock system. I did not do a before and after (pipe) run. After mapping the bike was much smoother running. When I put the pipe on I installed the Dan Kyle map that came with the pipe . It was real close on the air /fuel ratio. I still have that map somewhere,,,,,,,, That Arata BARKS above 9000 !

Cool, Kyle emailed me a map, i'm going to install it tomorrow, Hope it works good. So that's all you have to do is install the map and go?? or get it tuned on a dyno after the install??

if you are going to get it tuned on a dyno, dont waste time installing a map, that is what they are going to do.....if its a good map, then you shoudl be good....providing every other aspect of tuning is right....

I went to a dyno shop the weekend to get a custom map and the A-hole didn't do anything. I got the shop's name off the power commander website. they supposed to know what they were doing but they didn't. He used the stock map with a full arata and filter. It dynoed at 148.5 when i got there and 148.5 when i left. You talking about angry i wanted to whip everybody's azz in there.

Anything Kyle sends you will be a GREAT starting point to fine tune from. If you are going to use tuning link software then you really don't need to load the map.
