need help identifying recall front wheel
just bought a front wheel off zx-10r.net he said it came off an 05 but it does not have the machined lip on the left side.i did a search but couldn't find it. does the 05 wheel have the machined lip?

I never heard of a recall on an 05 wheel, only the very early 04's...KHI got a bad batch of wheels from Enkie and had to replace them....and it wasnt all 04's.....

05 wheel
he says it came off an 05 zx10. is there any marks on the wheel that i can tell what year it came off?

I dont think there were any changes in the wheels from 04 to 05........I dont think you woudl have to worry aboutthe recall on it if its off an 05....just use it....

zx 10 wheel
well the wheel i bought is off an 04 it has the bad number stamped on it. it is f100-11 it should be f100-24. it is a 04 wheel for sure but his ad on zx-10r.net said 05 not the recall wheel. he is playing dumb saying i must have switched wheels.. lol some people oh well beware of shady people.

i had to wait two weeks before they even released my bike to me after i bought it because of those damn wheels i almost told them to give me my money back , but it was worth the wait , this was in sept. of 04

I've been watching for wheels on E-bay and was worried about getting shafted on a bad front wheel. sorry to hear you got cheated.

there's a thread on this site with very specific photos ... why not try searching for front wheel recall?
I can do it for you, but then why did we build in a search function?
