but the Kaw web-site says the fuel tank is 17 litres which equals 4.5 gallons.?

UK gallons are bigger than US gallons i.e. 4.54 litres

I buy it as soon as it comes out, but don't have an e-subscription to read on line (don't know that they have such a thing either actually)
That issue has not reached my Books-a-Million or Barnes and Noble yet.
