Bleeding the break lines?
I like my breaks, but have heard that bleeding the breaks may fix some mushiness? My breaks dont really kick in until I squeeze the lever a good inch or so. The disks are fine, but what I am wondering is if I bleed the breaks will that make anything better? Also, how do you bleed the breaks? Easy? Better fluid or are they all the same?

Brake lines It won't fix the 10R. The master is junk to start with. Replace it with an 05 636 radial master and 05 636 ss lines. The problem will go away. You can also use a Brembo master with great results. The 636 one is just a little more user friendly because of the brake light switch being factory. Also the levers are common.

I got rid of the mushiness on my 04 with new lines and bleeding them over and over......another trick someone told me is to tie the brake lever down over night, I guess it allows the air that is in the system to move to the top of the system....not sure the how it works, but it DOES work.....after some new fluid and lines I bled and bled the brakes and couldnt get them how I wanted them....I tied the lever back over night....and it felt better, so i bled them again, and then tied it again over night....they are as good as I could hope for....I did a big write up on this dilema when it was happening, do a search for the thread....
